رداً علي شائعة إقالة، الفريق أول عبد الفتاح السيسي، وزير الدفاع، نشرت صفحة العقيد أركان حرب أحمد محمد علي، المتحدث العسكري للقوات المسلحة، نص رسالة من الرئيس محمد مرسي، الي الفريق السيسي، .
وقالت الصفحة، إن الرئيس مرسي وجهة رسالة شكر للقائد العام للقوات المسلحة، أعرب خلالها عن شكره وتقديره لقادة وضباط وصف وجنود القوات المسلحة على ما قدموا من جهد متميز لتأمين القمة الثانية عشر لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي بالقاهرة خلال الشهر الجاري، مشيداً بجهود رجال القوات المسلحة فى إنجاح القمة وظهورها بالمظهر اللائق، وداعياً الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يوفق أبناء القوات المسلحة فى أداء رسالتهم النبيلة ودورهم فى السلم والحرب.
وجاء نص الرسالة على النحو التالي:
السيد الفريق أو / عبد الفتاح السيسي القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربي.
تحية طيبة وبعد:
أنه لمن دواعي سروري أن أعرب عن خالص شكري وتقديري لكم ولقادة وضباط وصف وجنود القوات المسلحة على ما قدمتوا من جهد مميز أثناء إنعقاد القمة الثانية عشر لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي بالقاهرة خلال الفترة من [6-7 فبراير 2013] .
لقد كان لجهود رجال القوات المسلحة أبلغ الأثر فى إنجاح هذه القمة وظهورها بالمظهر اللائق وبالمكانة الرفيعة التي تحظى بها جمهورية مصر العربية بين دول العالم أجمع بفضل جهود أبناءها المخلصين.
والله تعالى اسأل أن يوفق رجال القوات المسلحة البواسل فى أداء رسالتهم ودورهم فى السلم والحرب كعهدنا دائماً بهم على مر التاريخ .
مع أطيب تمنياتي بدوام التوفيق والنصرة والسداد

وفي هذا السياق، أكد مصدر عسكري أن الرئيس محمد مرسي حاول البحث عن اي مناسبة ليقدم فيها الشكر للقوات المسلحة خاصة في ظل ما تردد خلال اليومين السابقين حول شائعة اقالة السيسي وهو ما أغضب المؤسسة العسكرية بشكل كبير.
وتابع المصدر: ''لذلك لم يجد مرسي أي مناسبه لتوجيه الشكر سوى بمناسبه مشاركة الجيش في تأمين القمة الاسلامية رغم مرور أكثر من أسبوع على انتهاءها''.

Said Page, President Mursi and hand a letter of thanks to the commander of the armed forces, during which his thanks and appreciation to the leaders and officers described the soldiers of the armed forces on what made outstanding efforts to secure Summit XII of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Cairo this month, praising the efforts of men of the armed forces in the success of Summit and its appearance in the proper manner, and calling on God to reconcile members of the armed forces in the performance of their noble mission and their role in peace and war.
The text of the letter is as follows:

Greetings:
It is my pleasure to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to you and the leaders and officers described and soldiers of the armed forces on what Kdmtwa of a special effort during the twelfth summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Cairo during the period from 6-7 February 2013].
It was the efforts of men of the armed forces reported impact on the success of this summit and its appearance in the proper manner and the high standing enjoyed by the Arab Republic of Egypt between the countries of the world thanks to the efforts of loyal sons.
God and ask that reconciles brave men of the armed forces in the performance of their mission and their role in peace and war, as always with them throughout history.

In this context, the military source confirmed that President Mohamed Morsi, try searching for any occasion to give thanks to the armed forces, especially in light of the rumors during the previous two days on a common sack Sisi which angered the military dramatically.
The source continued:'' Mercy did not find any suitable for thanking only on the Army post in securing Islamic summit, despite the passage of more than a week on end''.
